Steps to resolve the issue of HP wireless printer printing
- First of all in many cases, printers won’t print because of the printer driver update problem. To solve this, you may need to update or reinstall the printer driver to fix the issue.
- Sometimes when you print something the printer does not print because the default printer is not selected. To solve this, first tap Window logo key and R key on the keyboard at the same time. The Run dialog box opens. Type Control and press Enter.
- This will open the Control Panel and click Devices and Printers. In Printer’s section, right-click and choose Set as Default Printer. If there is a tick mark on the printer, then it is set as a default printer.
- If there is a stuck print queue cancel all print jobs. So first right-click on the printer by opening Devices and Printers and choose See What’s Printing.
- Open Printer menu and then click Open as Administrator. Again open Printer menu and choose Cancel all Documents this time. Click Yes to confirm it.
- If the cartridge is not clean, first open the ink cartridge access door. Remove the ink cartridge and place it on a piece of paper.
- Dip a clean rubber swab or cloth into the distilled water. Squeeze excess of water from it and clean only the copper-colored contacts.
- Wait for about ten minutes to dry the electrical contacts of the ink cartridge. Reinstall the ink cartridge and close the ink cartridge access door.
