Printing with an iPhone or any other Apple device is possible with the help of an application developed by Apple. Available free of cost on its application store, this application is named AirPrint.
All you need to do this is an Apple device and a printer that has a wireless facility and one that supports AirPrint. The following are steps to be followed to do so :
i. Ascertain that your printer supports AirPrint. This can be done by checking apple website and entering your printer model number and manufacturer.
ii. Download the application from Apple store and install it on your device. Turn on your printer and switch on its wireless feature.
iii. Connect your printer and your iOS device to the same network. Keep in mind that internet connection is not mandatory as long as the document that you want to print is saved on your device.
iv. On the AirPrint application, open the document that you want to print and and on the open icon and choose the Print option.
v. Tap on Select printer and select any AirPrint enabled printer that is connected to your network.
vi. Customize the print option such as the number of pages to be printed and duplexing etc, and click on the Print option on the top right corner.
