The printer is marked as offline for one of the following reasons.
Windows :
· The connection between the printer and computer is broken.
· HP printer is not set to be the default printer
· Correct connection port was not selected
· Printer firmware is not recently updated
· Wireless printer is far away from the computer
· The computer is affected with virus.
Mac :
· Connectivity issues between the computer and printer
· Multiple printers present in the printer list
· Multiple print queue error
· Multicasting not enabled for wireless printers
· Ipv6 not disabled for printers having control panel with display
